Grant has a candid interview with former USMNT standout Eddie Pope, former MLS veteran Evan Whitfield and former broadcaster Allen Hopkins about their new organization SCORE, which stands for Soccer Collective on Racial Equity. They explain how their group formed in a year defined by the Black Lives Matter movement; the dearth of Black head coaches, GMs and presidents in American club soccer; and the changes they hope to bring about in the U.S. soccer landscape.
The other members of SCORE currently include DaMarcus Beasley, Cobi Jones, Oguchi Onyewu, Tony Sanneh, Rob Smith, Danielle Slaton, Kim Crabbe and Mike Curry.
