How cooperative is that relationship usually regarding playing time and position on the field? Are some some clubs or national teams more cooperative or less cooperative than others. I noticed Yunas Musah got a lot of playing time with Valencia this weekend. I wondered if the club was trying to prepare/improve his fitness for the upcoming USMNT games. That might be in the best interest for Midas, but the club might think the burst of playing time might reduce the risk of injury of an unfit player for the USMNT. In general, the club and country arrangement in international soccer is something new for Fans of American sports (baseball, basketball, etc) The situation of NBA players and the Olympic teams is very limited.
