I subscribed as soon as you launched and it’s been worth every penny. Daryl and Taylor at TSS first put me on to your work. Thanks for the top notch journalism.

Thank you! Daryl and Taylor were extremely supportive getting my podcast going in May 2020. Was great to see Taylor in Orlando last month. Think about Daryl all the time.

I too am really happy I subscribed! So much great content--loving it. Also psyched you can make it out to Seattle for the big Sounders match on May 4th! I'll be there cheering my butt off. Let us know if you are hosting any kind of pre- or post-match gathering with subscribers--would love to buy you a beer and talk some football ;-)

Thank you for subscribing! I'm glad you're enjoying it. A pre-match gathering with subscribers sounds like a good idea to me. Any idea on potential locations?

Cool! I polled the Sounders folks on FB, and sounds like the clear favorite for pre-match festivities is Temple Billiards (126 S Jackson St. in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood, near the stadium). We could also join the March to the Match from there if you are interested. If you end up coming out, just let me know a time and I would love to meet up. (dhirning@comcast.net if you need to reach me directly)

I’ll plan to be there by 5:30 pm. Have a Seattle radio spot at 5 pm and will head over from there.

Sweet! I'll be wearing a purple Sounders jersey and a USA Soccer hat, with a scarf around my neck to boot. We'll try to sit somewhere with a view of the entrance, but I will be looking for you.

I also subscribed right away because I have always valued your work covering soccer in the US. You are one of THE best journalists out there and you happen to cover what I love..soccer. Thanks also for always giving the women their significant due!! I have more than one (male) friend who mainly follow the women and not the men so keep up the great work there! Thanks and subscribe if you haven’t!!

Thank you for working to tell the stories of migrant workers in Qatar. The more attention they get, the better. It admittedly has me quite conflicted as a soccer fan

Thank you. I think you'll find the story interesting. I suspect I'll be plenty busy covering just the soccer there in November-December, so I thought it was important to do some journalism on this topic in the months before the World Cup.
