The roster is fine. Hopefully it will be used in an optimal manner. For me this means giving Gio Reyna a game or two in midfield. He's certainly looked good there for Dortmund.
Surprised to see Bello but I guess he’s trying to lock down a consistent LB. I don’t get Ream though. He didn’t play well in Nations League and hasn’t shown much to me on the national level (besides experience and being left footed).
In Berhalter's call with media today, he said it was a tough call between Bello and Vines. He indicated Vines had been set back a bit with Royal Antwerp by being involved in Gold Cup, which may be why Vines didn't get the USMNT call this time. Ream is a bit of a head-scratcher for me as well.
Honestly don't see the point of taking Ream over Shaq Moore but otherwise I'm good with it. Hoppe needs to find a better club if he wants to break into this group.
