Landon Donovan joins Grant, Chris and Mike Ryan to break down the USMNT’s convincing 2-0 win over Mexico in World Cup qualifying in Cincinnati on Friday. The victory vaults the U.S. into first place in the Octagonal halfway through the 14-game tournament.
One bit of constructive criticism: the fourth voice in this podcast was too much, and the conversation was a bit difficult to follow (though that could have been because everyone - myself included - were happy and all over the place!)
The reffing really needs a discussion. Rodriguez's blatant fouling on Aaronson, right in the ref's face, only receiving a yellow is disgraceful, shameful! CONCACAF is seen as a joke as long as this continues. That this can happen on US soil, and the confidence of Rodriquez of not getting a red is incomprehensible.
During the opening of the show I finally asked myself, "What are these jams Grant is employing?" And there you have it! Thanks
I think this was the most pro-USA crowd I recall in a USA v Mexico match. Am I off on that?
What was the stadium like? They didn't much talk about it on the broadcast except to say Cincinnati FC had only won there once.

Granrt, please do a segment on this.
