I went to England for two weeks over the summer for the women's Euros and only needed cash at one restaurant that was cash only (and worth it). Got a 20 out of the ATM and went to the place two-straight days for lunch because it was good and so I could get rid of my cash!
I'm a relatively new subscriber but gotta say I like the screenshotted questions. Definitely obvious what the question vs. answer is. Not sure if it's more or less work for you though.
Big question. Why didn’t you just train and backpack north and catch the Chunnel to England?! Missed some good vacation time, and may suffer your second jet lag!
