I was against the hiring of “3G”, am still convinced his hiring pre-ordained - the fix was in. But he’s done well. Has a winning streak against Mexico, won tournaments, brought in players who have surprised. Even so, if they don’t make Doha, he could be out of a job by the end of next week.
Obviously he - and you - know more than me. But I’d start the same midfield, swapping Reyna for Weah, and Moore for Yedlin. Panama will be tired, too, and I have faith in US recovery ability. Plus there’s the adrenaline of being *this close*. I think they’ll win, and hope it’s not a nail-biter so we can all enjoy it.
