Love the distinction made about players' competitiveness but "no jerk teammates in this group." That's a huge positive for the coaching staff, especially with the amount of young guys in the squad.
Are the Reynas done having kids? Anybody want to start a pool and chip in to hopefully incentivize this couple to produce another soccer superstar??? Seems like a sure thing no?
Great article, Grant. I hope they can continue to stay friends and keep looking forward to national team camps. If they do, can stay motivated to improve, and can stay healthy, they can get to where no US team has ever gotten - regular front page news - and exponentially grow the game. That’s what ALL US fans want.
